Over The Fence – Repost
I’ve included other posts about my favorite garden store, but I’m not sure if I’ve told you how I envy the owner because this huge rooster belongs to her. I would love to own him and have him in my garden…but truthfully, I don’t think he is for sale. Click for a previous post of “Over the Fence”.
Theme Day–Picture of the Year – Repost
Today is Theme Day, in the DP community, and I can’t wait to view the pictures 52 photographers choose as their Picture of the Year. My year has only been a little over 4 months, and I had a devil of a time. (I changed the photo 3 times.)
Not in Texas
Happy Thanksgiving
I saw this sign yesterday and agree with the sentiment. To often I hear people complain instead of express what they are thankful for. Family and where I live are two of my many blessings.
The sign did catch my interest, however. Do they really want fir “bows” or fir “boughs”. I’ve often said I got through college with a dictionary under one armpit, so I am hesitant to point fingers. I read it as “bow”….something you put on a package. Perhaps someone else reads it as “bow”, what you do when you bend at the waist. Perhaps I should call them. Maybe it wouldn’t fit with “boughs”. Perhaps they did it to get my attention. What do you think?
Popping up all over
Our Sequim Roosevelt Elk are famous, or infamous, depending on whether they have visited your yard. Symbols for the elk are popping up all over. This one is on the sign for a small strip mall on the west end of town, close to Wal-Mart.
The thumbnail shows a sign that is located in the downtown area, close to Seal Park.
