Some of the old cars from the Sequim Valley Car Club showed up for the photo shoot on Saturday. These gentlemen love their autos and will be an intergral part of the Irrigation Festival Activities.

Sequim Valley (repost)
A view of the Sequim Valley from Medsker Road. The thumbnail shows the Sequim Elk herd relaxing in a farmer’s field. More about our famous elk can be seen in a previous post.

Blake Sand and Gravel (Repost)
I stopped at Blake Sand and Gravel Saturday afternoon to check out pavers. They have a wonderful assortment of rock and stone. They also have a great path that leads you by samples of all the rock they can get for your garden. It wouldn’t work in my backyard, but I surely like the look of the bridge in the thumbnail.

Sequim Prairie Garden Club (Repost)
On East Washington you can find Pioneer Park. In the park is a clubhouse that is available for rent to individuals for private parties. It was the site of a birthday party I attended Saturday. The Sequim Prairie Garden Club is in charge of the landscaping in the park and the building is theirs. The sign on the wall was new and I thought you might like to see the art.
