Views of Sequim, the Olympic Peninsula. . .and beyond
If you have been watching or reading the “news”, the Pacific Northwest has been inundated with rain in the last 4 days. It continues today. This photo was taken through my car window. Tomorrow I will share with you a photo of our local river…not yet flooding, but close.
I don’t have a lot to say about this picture. I took it when I should have been listening to the Sequim City Band that I wrote about in a previous “post”. I just returned from a trip and appreciate all those who have stopped by in my absence. Now for a little tour around the world on my computer!
Located on the south of Highway 101, “Olympic Cellars” occupies one of those old barns I worry about disappering. Owned by three ladies, the wines include Working Girl White and Handyman Red I would encourage you to visit their website and learn more of the history of this “young” winerey.
I actually shot this photo about 2 weeks ago. I’m out of town today, “reflecting” on the good things about old friends. Back soon.
I walked into Costco last week…and there they were. Not even November yet and this big box store already had them displayed, lit and for sale. Hum…

In between sets at the Sequim Community Band performance last Sunday, I couldn’t keep from taking this shot of one of the stain glass windows at “Sequim Community Church” . At one time, the church was Sequim Presbyterian Church. They changed to a community church about 2 years ago and have a huge congregation. Although not where I attend church, I have a great admiration for their out reach to youth.
