My favorite Valentines
Flat Stanley comes for a visit
Flat Stanley arrived in my mailbox yesterday! We took a tour of the backyard, inspecting the latest mole hills and then toured the quilt room where I took his picture with one of my old Valentine’s Day quilts.. Stanley is now one his way to West Texas to visit my sister…I hope he doesn’t freeze. They have had lots of snow.
Lawnmower for hills?
Railroad Bridge in the Winter
Railroad Bridge Park, one of our nicest local attractions, looks a bit different in the winter. The thumb nail shows a wider view.
PUD Sign
Here is what I wanted a photo of Monday night when the camera batteries quit. It was all lit up and looked great. I’ll have to go back another time. On the way to work this morning, it was already turned off. I had to get this one in the afternoon.
PUD is now located in the old Costco on Hooker Road.
Repost..Soccer Sunday
I stopped to take a photo this evening on my way home from a meeting…the camera said “change the batteries”. So, I looked for a repost. This is what happened a year ago…and this last Sunday. I have a full life, but I seem to repeat a lot.
I went to see the grandson and son in law play indoor soccer yesterday afternoon. It’s fast paced, lots of running, fast feet, and thinking, always thinking, They had some great plays! Soon it will be time for the spring co-ed outdoor league and I will be there in my warm coat, with my blankie, yelling for the team.
