The sedum is turning red…and the bees love it.

Views of Sequim, the Olympic Peninsula. . .and beyond
It’s been a rough spring. An aging loved one, mini fires to put out, and meeting myself coming and going, has lead me to ask my brother, Denton, to remove my name from the City Daily Photo group. I had a wonderful time…got to know my town of Sequim much better, and met a lot of nice people.
Hopefully when I can slow down a bit, I will start a new blog with photos I like, that doesn’t require me to post a new one each day. As you can see, as of late, I failed miserably.
I would like to thank each and everyone of you who has taken the time to visit, leave a comment, and who gently encouraged me to come back. Another day…
These were from the parade in 2008. I’m at home today with a back ache…too much time in the yard, I think.
The parade was fun! And to think I almost didn’t go…my little ones were in the parade and Grandma didn’t think it would be much fun with out kids. Fortunately the older grandson volunteered to go with me. The weather gave us a bit of a scare…but just in time, the rain stopped and a great time was had by all. I didn’t do as well with my photos this year. Next year.
A new totem pole has been erected in front of the Jamestown Medical Center, scheduled to open on May 17th. My doctor will relocate there. I’m looking forward to seeing the new facility.
