It’s that time of year again.

Red house
The light could be better but this house looked pretty in its setting with the mountains in the background.
Time is unkind
I don’t suppose this fence started its life looking this way.
Is that you, FDR?
An eagle pair was sitting out the wind one afternoon recently. It wasn’t in the tree where I have found Victoria and Albert. Perhaps I’ll name this pair Franklin and Eleanor.
((Sigh))
I love Autumn.
No lawn ornament here
We get a lot of deer visiting our house but it’s usually does and fawns. I’ve counted up to nine wandering through lately. This young buck is uncommon. They usually keep a low profile and don’t hang out with the ladies.
Just wait
We headed out to take photos on Sunday afternoon. There were blue skies when we started. We drove through rain squalls by the time we came home. Then it stayed dry enough to take a walk. On some days if you don’t like the weather just wait 15 minutes.
