I followed flocks of ducks around Carrie Blake Park yesterday. She may not be very exotic but I found this female mallard pretty and she didn’t mind posing for me. That should count for something.

End of the line IV
Remember this barn? This is a shot I posted in September. I posted more shots here and here in October showing a hole where that cuppola once was.
Here it is last Friday. I saw the new damage a couple of times in the week before I took the photo. I’m not sure when it happened, but it certainly is going fast.
Stay warm
I understand that we lose an extraordinary amount of body heat through our heads. I’m sure this garden bear was grateful to have a little protection from our chilly days lately.

On today’s menu: Hay bales waiting to be unfurled for cattle. And those are snowberries in the foreground – forage for birds in winter. The Olympic Mountains are in the distance.
Here comes the sun
Not quite close enough to that mailbox for a pot of gold. I checked.
