The “Charlie Brown” Christmas Tree
Every year the various cycling groups of Sequim decorate this tree between hwy 101 and the Olympic Discovery Trail right before the first exit to Sequim
This was our WOW group admiring the work of our friends during our ride. (what a GLORIOUS day it was –but cold!)
Christmas present for ME and YOU
I believe I have a person[s] willing to take over the Sequim Daily Photo. This will be one of my best presents yet! More info coming soon!
Moonlit Bay
I woke up very early to find a full moon lighting up Sequim bay. It was a beautiful sight.
Taken with my cell phone from inside the house (my camera was in my studio and I was NOT going to go get it in 29 degree weather–I know I’m a woosie!)
December snow in the Olympics
There’s snow in them there hills (mountains)! My friend does back county skiing and went to the top of hurricane ridge and hiked up to ski the first runs of the season. They open the road to Hurricane weekends for winter sports, such as, snow shoeing, beginning skiing-only a t-bar, and back country skiing.
(Taken with my cell phone from Sequim bay rd.)
Life was simpler then…
