Every year the various cycling groups of Sequim decorate this tree between hwy 101 and the Olympic Discovery Trail right before the first exit to Sequim

I woke up very early to find a full moon lighting up Sequim bay. It was a beautiful sight.

There’s snow in them there hills (mountains)! My friend does back county skiing and went to the top of hurricane ridge and hiked up to ski the first runs of the season. They open the road to Hurricane weekends for winter sports, such as, snow shoeing, beginning skiing-only a t-bar, and back country skiing.
