Fun at the Sequim lavender festival
This lil cutie was running all around Lost Mountain lavender. She clearly has just learned to RUN and didn’t want to stop. I asked mom if I could photo her. She said yeas and told me that this was her daughters 1st time to the festival, and that she and her mom had come for decades. So I asked if she would like a photo of the three of them…it’s a good story.
When she jumped off she immediately streamlined and dove straight down into the bay.
This frigate male really needs a course in nest building. This poor chick could barely stay on/in.
This very HUGE eagle landed on the top of my not so big tree. It waggled back and forth with its weight. I knew he wouldn’t stay too long since it wasn’t very stable. So I was able to capture him taking off. (next photo)
Ok…get OUT OF THE ROAD NOW! Do I have to carry you? This vixon had her paws /mouth full with this bunch. She would shoo/ carry them into the trees and they’d come back out and lay in the road.
I think when the homesteaders saw this view from this piece of land…they said “we shall build here!”
