I’ve always wanted to capture cascading posts like this under a pier or a train trestle. This one finally worked for me. Got the water the way I wanted, the posts just such you down the way, and the sunrise colors were just icing!

You like my bill?
Caught this Long Bill Curlew feeding on Glass Beach off of N Beach county park in Port Townsend. This is a GREAT park to see wildlife, and pick up pretty polished pieces of glass. Go during a low tide.
Really-did you have to lick it?
My husband came running into my workshop…quick quick grab your camera!
At first it was just the lil chipmunk, plopped in the bird feeder with his legs wrapped around, trying everything to get the little thistle seeds out, which was funny enough (or maybe I’m just bored.) Then came the birds. This one had been starring at the chipmunk, then turned and gave me this look.
Water Wiener Dog?
Caught this river otter feeding sand worms on Glass Beach off of N Beach county park in Port Townsend. They always remind me of wiener dogs–they are so long!
Lil Worlds
These were taken at Roozengaarde tulip fields last week. In photoshop you can edit landscapes into these lil round worlds. I had fun with them. I hope you enjoy!
Port Townsend Boat Haven
While waiting in the ferry line for the fog to move on, I captured this shot as the fog rolled away from the marina and the Olympics were in the background.
