The trail to the bottom of the Snoqualmie Falls had huge nurse trees at every turn. The original tree was rotting out from underneath the roots. It was very cool.

Snoqualmie Falls
These beautiful falls are about 2hr 15 min from Sequim in the cascades. The original “lodge” was built in 1916 and had 8 rooms. Now it is a luxury boutique hotel–well worth the high price tag.

Wildlife Wednesday-Galapagos
I was snorkeling and popped up for air, and here were two Blue footed Boobies and a bunch of cactus. It was the first boobies I had seen this trip. I was so excited I dipped my snorkel and got a snootful of water.
