It’s been a very gloomy week here in Sequim. When I was searching for photos to post– this one made me happy. Hope it makes you smile too…
May all these showers bring spring flowers!

This lil waterfall of fungi was pouring over the edge of this log.
Thank goodness for the articulating screen so I didn’t have to do my usual lay on the ground to get the shot…It had been raining really hard!
This is an iconic place. But like the Grand Canyon it’s even more amazing in person. We were there during a monsoonal 4 day storm. But it broke long enough to get some great shots with crazy skies.
I had to lay on my belly and crawl to the edge so I could show you the edge!
So this is one of the FEW plants the deer did not decimate in my yard this year. It’s a lil maple that had each branch showing of different colors. It was amazing.
This lil hummer in my back yard was really enjoying the sprinkler in his hummer sized puddle in the rock.
On an hike around Gibbs Lake the raindrops on the lichen kept catching my attention. This photo really doesn’t do it justice. Nature is always amazing. So go out and Forest Bath…it will do your soul good.
This is my ever changing view on John Wayne Marina. Today was spectacular. The light was constantly on the move putting different areas into highlight and shadows. I liked the fall colors popping in and out.
