
This parrot is colored like a budgie but it was about 12-16″ long so I think it was a different bird. It was so fun hanging out at the Botanic Gardens and looking for all the birds we don’t have in the NW.

Aren’t the birds in Australia amazing? They were the first thing I noticed me when I visited there in 2007, compared to the birds I was used to seeing in the western U.S.
I love the exotic birds we dont have here. I thought they were better even than the amazon!
