I love watching sea stars move. They can even flip themselves over.

The “suckers” are called tube feet. They facilitate movement, predation, and gas exchange (O2, CO2).
I’m definitely going to have to add Salt Creek Park to my places to visit.
Until then, thanks for for taking us there.
THANKS Sam. Thoses suckers do alot! To plan your trip look for a low tide at least -2′. Then you’ll get to see all the wonders. If you RV or camp the Clallum county park is right at its edge and has really inexpensive sites that are really nice. Or there is a resort across the street that rents out Tiny Houses. and has the private beach that looks at the seastack at salt creek.
Quite alien, but I’ve never seen them.
