On schedule

I can think of few things that haven’t been disrupted in one way or another this year. So it’s no surprise how enthusiastic I am to find comfort in natural cycles that haven’t been interrupted. Birds are back for the summer. My garden is producing on cue. And wild summer berries are coming along nicely. Who would expect that ripening blackberries would bring comfort?

  2. Hello,

The wild raspberries are starting to appear here too. They are a happy sight to see!
Take care and stay safe! Enjoy your day!

  3. We’ve got some wild thimbleberries ripening now. They’re so good. Too bad there are so few on the bush.

  4. It sounds comforting to me. It is nice to know that natural rhythms are moving along even if we aren’t . Plus, blackberries are tasty treats.

  5. Since they’re crawling on the ground I think those might actually be dewberries.

  6. Oh don’t talk to me about blackberries. Those are one of the “weeds” that have got me into such trouble this week (tomorrows post)
