This is a Sequim landmark that is slowly being disassembled. The walls of the long, horizontal structure have been removed and I assume all the buildings will be gone one of these days. This is what it looked like back in 2014.
The barn sits on a large piece of land that has been sold. It is to be developed into over 100 units of housing.
The barn is located on Sequim Avenue, one of Sequim’s major north-south roads.
Not the best end for it.
Sometimes it is sad to see old landmarks disappearing. I have had more than my share.
There has been a lot of barns lost to development over the years. I hope the housing is actually needed.
This is the second photo I’ve seen today of a field full of dandelions. That made me smile.
More agricultural land disappearing!
I wonder if there will be another location for this landmark or will it be just another memory.
It is late evening … and I don’t remember … did I write a comment?
And so you see again … the days fly fast and our life is slowly but surely changing!
Enjoy your week, Kay!
Glad you have the photo … in a few years time the field will look like all the development on the hills behind.
