I’m glad I got this shot of our early crocus the other day. There was the slightest hint of sunshine and they opened nicely. If there’s been sun since then I haven’t noticed it. Nor have these flowers which seem to be staying closed as if to say, “Oops. Sorry. Not yet.”

I saw some Aconite buds last week that then disappeared under a load of snow that we got. Today they were visible but not open yet. It feels early for them.
