Going up…
…or down.
This looks very European to me. But it was in Victoria B.C. That’ll do.

You say that looks “European” … I see no difference!
Can you explain?
Ella, these railings don’t look like ones you typically find in the U.S. Ours are usually more plain and not as decorative and interesting as these. I’ve generally seen pretty ones like these in Europe.
I love shots like this! I find all those patterns quite soothing.
I had an art class assignment back in college to capture the alphabet in various ways, ie. a windmill makes a delightful “Q” if in the right position. This rail says “Z” or “N” to me. Oh the flashbacks!
You seem to enjoy your trips to Victoria. How long is the ferry ride?
Pat, it’s only 90 minutes. The ride ends in the inner harbour, steps from Parliament, the Royal B.C. Museum, and downtown Victoria. It couldn’t be more convenient.
I like the pattern.
Great patterns in that ironwork.. I love Victoria, haven’t been there in years.
I was thinking these are rather too plain to be European.
