The Olympic Mountains got the first noticeable snow of the season overnight on Friday night. As the clouds cleared through the day on Saturday, snow patches were revealed.
(If this view looks familiar it’s because it’s one of my favorites, also shown in the Sequim Daily Photo header, above.)
I like the look of snow in our mountains but I can’t say I’m excited at the prospect of winter’s short days.
Beautiful scenery. The snow is the icing on the cake.
I don’t like short days either. I love how the mornings are so lovely and bright now but daylight savings kicks in next weekend so they will be gone again for a while.
What a stunning view! I’m not that happy about the shorter days either. I’m already having trouble getting up at my normal time!
The mountain looks fantastic with the snow and the clouds. It would be something that I would photograph frequently too.
I hate the short days and the prospect of snow doesn’t thrill me either! Bah, humbug! 😉
Snow!!!!!!
Snow, snow, snow, snow!!!!
*does a happy dance*
What a beautiful view Kay, the snow caps are wonderful.. how long before the snow reaches the lowlands?
