The only problem is if Mother Nature should get in a tiff.

The way things are going these days waterfront property is not as much fun as it used to be. I hope the people never have to use the tsunami evacuation route.
I personally don’t like being on the waterfront (too blowy). The thought of a tsunami would make me thing twice too.
The Tsunami sign is very sobering!
Mother Nature would be a tough one to deal with in that neighborhood.
These areas are threatened by rising waters in so many locations these days!
Hopefully, mother nature won’t get upset. I go to California every summer for a few days and I see these signs there too.
Yes, you’d have to get out of there in a hurry.
Mind you, the sort of conditions that would result in a tsunami would probably by extension wreck the road.
Emergency personnel have identified suitable walking routes away from the beach. They estimate that residents might have an hour of time to evacuate after a big quake event.
A yes, there is that little problem of the Juan de Fuca plate. But those plates colliding do make for beautiful country…..so paradise, even if temporary. I do enjoy your photos…..thanks for your work.
