This was a parking lot I ventured into last Sunday. Our other roads looked a lot like this too. We get snow perhaps once or twice a year, a few inches at lower elevations. So we don’t have a lot of snow removal equipment. “Wait and let it melt” usually works pretty well in most cases. Not so much lately.

Welcome to winter driving. ( ͡ °~͡° )
We’ll see that here, largely because at near freezing temperatures salt does break it down, but the policy is to try to remove it in order to not clog up the storm drains. That can still take time for the city to do.
Lots of slipping and sliding, no doubt.
I would definitely have to wait and let it melt before I tried to venture out in that!

Such a shame that the prettiness of snow is accompanied by slush.
