Bless his heart, a neighbor volunteered to clear our driveway for us Sunday. Until Rob came by, the snow was deep and treacherous. Good neighbors are worth their weight in gold.
We took a trip into town. The surroundings were gorgeous. The highway was clear. Local roads? Not so nice. Sanded slush and more slush. Packed snow and melt. And I’m sure there’s more ice by now.
We picked up provisions we hadn’t gotten before the storms started. And now we’ll stay in until the weather people stop repeating “snow likely,” “snow showers,” and “chance of snow.”
Cheers! Stay warm. ☼ ☀ ☁ ☂ ☃ ☄
You have to love a good neighbor! We are getting hit with snow now!
A tractor like that comes in very handy with this kind of weather!
Wow, your own personal plough operator, how great that is. A nice neighbor is always appreciated especially in times like these when you get buried in snow. We had a neighbor in Fairbanks who did our driveway when it snowed a lot. It was a long driveway and we appreciated it very much. He worked for the city and had a plough at his house which made it convenient. I love the Sequim sign, it looks great with the snow surrounding it and the deer/elk standing on top.
My neighbour mows our front lawn with his ride-on mower. This is so wonderful because I don’t look out of step with the rest of the street – the lawn inside my yard is always unacceptably long. Good neighbours are an absolute blessing.
