Remember the deck chair I showed you last week here? This is what it looked like in the midst of our recent snow dump storm.
Last Friday as the storms began I took a walk while it came down in big, wet flakes. By Saturday the accumulation was deep enough to make a stroll difficult. We got about a foot (30-1/2 cm). Snow is not common here and this is much more snow than we typically get.
Everything is transformed. Yesterday was a clear, mostly sunny day but more snow is predicted throughout the week. Did someone say “cabin fever?”
Oh my… cabin fever and hibernation for sure. The same storm is heading my way (Southern Ontario). It is expected to arrive here Tuesday. Forecast: snow and freezing rain. ☂
Beautiful photos. What a delight but I think I am happier in our summery warmth right now.
That deck chair reminds me of some of the park benches here, that often get completely buried by snow over the course of a winter.
So much snow! It certainly is pretty.
It looks like Frosty is coming to life in that chair. All he needs is his magic top hat. 🙂
It looks so gorgeous but I know it can be a real pain dealing with it! We are to get a bit of a Colorado low tomorrow bringing us 10-15 cm so traffic will be a mess!
