It wasn’t a polar vortex, just a winter storm front that moved in from Canada. But we got our first snow of the winter on Sunday afternoon and Monday morning. Snow is rare enough here that it’s a novelty. And many people don’t know how to drive in it.
I took a walk. It’s a nice way to enjoy the altered scenery.
How exciting if you do not normally get snow – I am like that when it happens here. I don’t know how to drive in snow which was a problem a couple of times I was in the USA for work when the first falls of the season came down and I had to get to the airport in the hire car. Fortunately I lived to tell the story.
Brrr! No polar vortex, but cold enough for me – wind chill of 8.6 F early Monday morning. Some snowflakes the size of small feathers, beautifully serene and peaceful.
Looks so nice Kay. I think this is the perfect way to do snow, not so often or so much so that you can thoroughly enjoy it when it’s there ⛄
Lovely! My kind of weather!
The snow does act some beauty to the scenery. Always have to worry about others and their driving skills in those wintry conditions. Be careful!
It makes for pretty pictures! Our snow is just about all melted after a few warm days.
