We parked near a field recently and quickly noticed that it was filled with birds. Canada geese.
There were hundreds and hundreds of them across the field. I understand that tundra swans are also starting to arrive (thank you, SAM!) but haven’t had time to take a look.
I just realised they are geese on the photo. I thought is was a couple of rock walls!
Canada geese have adopted very well to living side by side with people. They seem to be everywhere.
That’s more geese than I’ve ever seen in one spot!
That’s an impressive gathering of Canadian geese.
There still seem to be a lot of them here who haven’t headed south yet. If I had wings I would be gone by now! š
Wonderful photos – we’ve seen the Canada Geese and also the Tundra and Trumpeter Swans – and a few Snow Geese over here too. Others have seen the massive flocks of Snow Geese but so far we’ve missed them – one of these weekends we’ll see them. Happy weekend ahead my dear.
Gosh that is a lot of geese Kay, were they quiet?
