Ready or not, here’s more chinchilla cuteness, compliments of Timmy, the chinchilla I’ve been caring for whilst his people have been away. Yesterday, when I arrived, I awakened his little chinchness.
I’d fed him earlier the day before so according to his stomach my arrival was probably overdue. He scurried out to watch while I did the more boring stuff like replenish his ordinary food.
It’s the treats he’s looking for and yesterday he almost climbed my leg begging. He’s either gotten used to me or I’ve succeeded in spoiling him rotten.
He’s no Labrador retriever like my Dear Dog but he’s definitely got his cute going.
It is lovely to see the more detailed photos … so very cute.
We are meant to spoil our pets. Cleo is getting ever more pushy, though. She runs and sits in front of the refrigerator looking up with pleading eyes as if I’m supposed to jump at her every whim. So, I jump, get her chicken treats and then go about my business. Your chinchilla is a cutie, too. Do you think Cleo and Timmy would get along?
He certainly is cute!
He’s becoming an international star. That, I think deserves a treat! ๐
Hmm, interesting timing. This just came up in one of feeds:

Timmy’s cute, but it’s pretty tough to beat baby chinchillas.
Soft fur or not, Timmy makes you wonder how anyone could turn his kind into fur coats.
He is quite sweet! And obviously intelligent – he knows you control the food!
He really is.. cute I mean, adorable actually ๐
Timmy says thank you for all the attention, care, and treats! He thinks Christmas came early!
