Here’s a mailbox you don’t see every day. There’s the octopus at the top. Driftwood covers the base. And blown glass brightens things up.
A couple of tiny creatures peek out from the driftwood. This one is the most photogenic.

I love it. There is apparently a walk to see quirky mail boxes in Kandos. I must go see if they are still there some day.
Interesting find. This mailbox confirms that there are creative minded people out there.
Got to admit one does not see things like this very often. In our old neighborhood, all the mailboxes had to be black and of a certain height. One also seldom sees driftwood like this, all confused and full of funny wee critters. Reminds me of my classroom back when I was foolish enough to try teaching. Cute as all get-out, though.
No, the rider of the French bike does not wear a beret, he wears a very skimpy swimming suit. You’d like it. 😉
Very photogenic!
If I was the postman this unique and tres quirky postbox would make me smile every time I put something in it Kay 😊
I love it. What a great find! A mailbox like this would not last in my neighborhood though. Too many destructive teenagers.
Those must be quirky people who live there!
Very cool and creative. I like the wee face peeking out from the bottom. Great find, Kay!
Very clever – I do love creative folks, and adore clever mailboxes. We’ve had some torrential rains recently – mixed in with some lovely sunshine. How’s the weather been over there?
