You can get a lot of pumpkins around here these days. But if you want something a little different Sunny Farms is the place to go. They have a great display of all colors and shapes.
These are described as a “red warty thing” and “it’s a squash.”
There are large and small variations, orange, white, you name it.
And if you want something a little spooky, in my opinion these are just the ticket.
The warty ones are amazing. Pumpkins are different in Australia – usually have green skin. We eat them quite a lot but not as a dessert (I think you guys may call them squash). However I saw some of these yellow carving pumpkins in the supermarket the other day. They are obviously trying to get us to buy into Halloween.
The last ones with the warts look as if they belong to an evil witch! 😉
I find the bumpy ones peculiar!
What a large variety to choose from. Fun for the kids to find that special one to take home.
