Summer offers a very sweet benefit: lunch outside. Under the grape arbor at Alder Wood Bistro is a perfect place to enjoy a warm day, good meal, and great friends.
The one problem is when someone else orders what I should have and didn’t. Salad envy.
The only consolation in a case like this is to order the Bistro’s signature “Chocolate Bliss” for desert. It will obliterate any second guessing about a perfect meal.
Now we need a photo of the “Chocolate Bliss.” Eating outdoors without bugs and bees is a splendid way to spend a summer day.
Gee, Kate. I didn’t take a photo of that. Guess I’ll have to go back….a tough job but someone’s got to do it.
Just the title of the dessert would be tempting enough!
There you go Kay, a friend of mine calls that an executive decision and you made the perfect and only decision that was left. Well done! š
Gosh this post has got me all excited about summer Kay.. or it could be the thought of that dessert š I think I would have had a bit of salad envy too, looks soooo good!
Looks like a good place for an outside meal. It has been so hot here this summer, my own outdoor dining is less this year than usual. Hooray for air conditioning.
