I’ve become a skeptic when it comes to cooking with fresh hot peppers. Recipes call for one of these, or three of those. Even when I’m reassured that it’s a mild pepper I’ve lived to regret using even half of what’s in the recipe.
I don’t think I’m a wimp. Maybe I’m just a bad sport. And it’s hard to hide the tears streaming down my face.
Couldn’t agree more Kay, I love quite a bit of spice but too much just spoils the experience! Have to say though they are tres photogenic en masse ✨
We eat lots of hot peppers in our Mexican food and on pizza. I do love them but I also have a heat limit. The hotter it is the better my wife loves them. She passes me on the hot meter for her level of heat and that’s ok by me. 🙂
I can manage mild peppers. Anything beyond that and I won’t go for it. Hot and spicy doesn’t work for me.
