The trail behind this dog was littered with branches of varying sizes, all bearing tooth marks.
I wonder. Could this be the canine equivalent of a cell phone?

Speak softly and carry a big stick.
Or a pacifier? Great photo of the two together.
Funny and funny comment about the cell phone. Dogs do like sticks. Our daughter has a Golden and he loves to chase sticks in the water. You could throw a tree in a lake and he’d try to haul it to shore. Cute shot, Kay!
Awww, what a cutie!
“This is my stick. There are many sticks like it in in the world, but this one is mine.”
Another one for the pile. We have a couple of dogs that I always see when I am walking and they always have a stick in their mouth. There is one dog when he leaves his house, leaves with a stick. Maybe they are showing off, look what I got and it’s mine. 🙂
