Yup, it can be depressing but don’t let it bother you. They say the sun will not burn out for another 5 billion years. ☼
I think maybe your vacation in San Diego spoiled you and raised your expectations. Perhaps you need some sun lamps in your home where you could sit in a bathing suit and read a magazine and drink one of those funny little drinks with an umbrella in it.
Seriously, the worst part of winter for me when I lived in the north was the gray skies and the gray days. So, I feel your pain and truly hope that things brighten up for you soon.

Hang in there! Believe it or not, it’s been rather cloudy in the Sunshine State since I returned. Even rained most of the day yesterday. Unusual.
