We stopped on Marine Drive to look at the gorgeous views. I heard an eagle. This one soon landed and perched across the street.

What a majestic bird, beautiful photo!
Re your question about the facilities, yes they were asking about the condition and maintenance of it.
Okay, now you’re just showing off as to how good your lens is and how well you’ve learned to use it and your ability to spot beautiful eagles perched across the street. Sheesh! You’re doing really well. That’s one hell of an eagle.
I was wondering: Do you think the name, Maureen, came from “marine” and means something nautical?
Just wondering because you’re so smart I figured you’d know and that was a funny comment you left on Ocala yesterday!
They’re such formidable, majestic birds. Wonderful capture!
And you “just happened” to have the long lens with you, right? Good for you!
My daily walk includes Marine Drive and your fence shot of the north side of Olympic Game Farm on Loutzgesell. Both place have a great population of perching Bald Eagles right now. It’s awesome to hear the calls.
Trilogyland? You are too funny. But, no, golf carts are supposed to stay off these trails…they are only for walkers and bikers and sometimes people on skates. They don’t want Trilogyland to end up like The Villages where there are miles and miles of trails but you’re afraid to walk on them because you’ll get run over by golf carts that can go 35mph. We visited The Villages in 2003 when we still lived in Ft. Lauderdale, and found that riding our bikes on their trails was to take your life in your hands! But we didn’t buy there primarily because we couldn’t get an HMO…they still hadn’t gotten this far north in Florida. Plus the houses were way too expensive for us.
Fantastic shot Kay, gosh it’s a fierce land impressive looking predator !
Excellent. I went up to the area where eagles are viewed on webcams, but the adult eagles were off fishing and only one eaglet was in view. A C+ photo. You got a great pic.
