Today’s theme, “tired,” fits yours truly. It was finally time to get a new computer. Upgrade the antique software. Pare down the bloated photo library, then pare more. Still paring. Move the library into the new computer. Begin the fits and starts climb to attempt mastery of new software. I’m not there yet. The object you see in my right hand here? A white flag. I’m tired.

Ugh! You have my sympathy. Few things top a computer conversion on my list of things I hate to do.
As misery loves company, does it help you to know I’ve started working on my taxes?
SAM, TurboTax 2017 is the next new software to load. My taxes await, too.
I know the feeling. With computers it is tough to make a fresh start. I does take time and thought but it is worth it.
I can understand that, new computers always take time. Great photo for the theme. I just got a new computer last month and am slowly transferring stuff over to it. My old laptop has a broken hinge so I’m still using it along with some good old duct tape to hold the screen up so my process has been slow.
About your comment, there is a Beatles tune with the line referring to Nancy.
Her name was Magil and she called herself Lil But everyone knew her as Nancy; the line is from Rocky Raccoon. Great memory Kay!
Cute take on the theme! I’m sure you will get there eventually.
Super post, Kay. I do like the white flag of surrender. That’s the only thing to do because new computers will drive you crazy…unless you opt for a Mac. I use a Windows computer sometimes because I’ve got some Photoshop programs that work only on a PC, but use my iMac for everything else.
Computer upgrades and issues can certainly leave me feeling mentally tired! A creative take on the theme.
Oh that made me laugh Kay, that sounds like a horrible task ahead but just think how organised you’re going to be 😀. Meanwhile my photo files are a disastrous mess 😀
What a great post and one most of can relate to.
Lovely rake on the theme and my best wishes in overcoming technological obstacles!
I can identify with this. My MacBook Pro laptop is from 2012 and is limping, but I can’t face the upgrade.
You have set out to do a massive job, which I have been avoiding for a long time! Good luck!!
