“Well, you wanted to come out here. I kept telling you ‘We have to watch the tide.’ But no. You said we never go anywhere, why don’t we hang out for a while. Well, here we are. Out in the middle of the ocean.”
“Are you kidding? Would it kill you to fly once in a while?”
This conversation sounds familiar. ~(‾▿‾)~
The birds posed beautifully. I like all the subtle horizontal lines, especially in the water.
Very funny and so apropos. Nice photo, too. There’s a lesson to be learned here, too. Sometimes, we hang on to things too long and find we’ve been taken to places we’d prefer not to be. Or we end up in a situation that is hurtful to us. Sometimes we have to let go and fly to be truly free.
Sooner or later that’ll end with him saying “yes dear.”
I’m laughing and can image that conversation, too funny. Thanks for sharing the humor, Kay. 🙂
Nicely caught! One of the sandpiper family, Semipalmated, at a guess.
Love the photo – and the conversation. Our snow is not melting – it snowed more today – but I think it has stopped and supposed to get up to 43 tomorrow – but then it was supposed to get up to 49 today and barely got above freezing. I’d be happy to send some snow over to you.
