I love those old Victorian ladies – reminds me of where I grew up in Ontario. Nothing even remotely like that here, our town dates from 1912, and was built in wood.

Hmmm…love the building and your photo and the colors. Not sure why they were called “painted ladies.” Of course, in this case, those two globes might have symbolized a certain feminine aspect… 🙂

So many wonderful details here Kay, they really had style back then. I think some of those features carried on through to the Art Deco era.
