I have a new lens that helps me get closer to the birds that catch my eye. I haven’t seen a lot of eagles lately but was pleased to find this one.

While in New Brunswick this year I saw 6 eagles in one day. That is more than I had seen in my entire life. Seeing one becomes an exciting moment for me.
He is a beautiful specimen of that wonderful bird! Great shot!
Oh wow, that is just superb. I’ve got a couple of hawk shots that I thought were pretty good but now I may put those back in the closet! What a bird. And what a lens! The lens is what really makes the photo, not so much the camera. Lucky you!
Wow! That’s a beauty of a shot, it didn’t take long you long to get used to that new lens, fabulous! Happy weekend Kay 😊
What a beautiful bird!

Good for you! – and such a classic pose. Our local eagles go away from the end of August to mid-October, they head north to catch the early salmon runs. If yours do the same that may be why you haven’t seen any lately.
Awesome!! The eagle looks proud and your new lens gets up close and personal. Excellent and have fun with the new lens.
Great Shot!!
Nice one. Aren’t new lenses fun? I brought a new long lens to Africa.
