There may have been other birds mixed in but all I could see were gulls…in the sky, on the shore, in the water. This shot shows only a fraction of the birds flying over Dungeness Bay.

Wow. I saw a similar sight with pelicans, storks and flamingos at Lake Manyara in Tanzania last month. Never saw a sight like this in the States. Lucky you!
