Flapping around
“Ignore him, Madge. He’s just showing off again.”

Nothing like a good stretch to keep those wings in shape.
He thinks he’s the best, the greatest, the most wonderful goose in the whole world. He may be right, but Trump is going to give him a run for his money, speaking of goofy gooses.
Me again. In response to your comment on Ocala: When we moved here 13 years ago, Ocala was still a “small town” with a small town feel. Clerks were friendly by and large and it was a really nice place to live. Word got out and people from south Florida and Orlando and all over the northland started moving here. Now, it’s not so nice and not so friendly and has lost its small town feel. The traffic has become horrendous, and we’ve got every kind of fast-food joint there is, and one no longer feels “safe” just walking around. What’s really scary is we expect a huge influx from south Florida after the terror of Hurricane Irma. We lived in Ft. Lauderdale when Hurricane Andrew hit…it was a terrible experience but we were far enough north that we didn’t feel the brunt of that storm. But our schools were overrun with kids moving up from the south Miami area. In fact, the school district hired counselors to work with these kids. And our classrooms were jammed! I’m afraid the same thing will happen here in the coming days.
Of course he has to show off!
Very funny Kay, I just had a good laugh. Your words definitely fit the image perfectly, I love it!
He? You can tell? 🙂
I have a bad reaction whenever I see Canada geese. We have far too many of them around here and they are vile, smelly birds who poop all over the place! Whew. Felt good to get that off my chest.
