The Parliament building in Victoria is beautiful by day. Lit at night it shows off its elegant architecture.
This is a side of Parliament that many tourists don’t get around to seeing. It’s at the back of the building. And it’s none too shabby for a “back door.”
Wow! The night scene is impressive.
Victoria is a very beautiful city…I would love to visit there someday but that’s not going to happen so I’ll have to look at your pictures and enjoy the place that way. I love this night shot…very well done. and that is a truly grand building!
That’s a stunning night view, very nice indeed. The back of the building is pretty impressive too.
Oh I’m so envious of your Parliament building Kay, beautiful architecture! Ours is not attractive at all, more brutilistic style. Love the way it’s lit up at night, I bet that’s a real tourist draw card!
It really is a beautiful looking legislature. I’d love to see it for myself someday.
I always check out the back and meander around the Centennial Fountain, and say “hello” to the fireman on his pedestal. And in spring, there’s a magnificent big red rhodo bush on the west side that is just gorgeous when in bloom. Victoria is my favourite BC city, next to home of course.
