We’ve got smoky conditions again. When I took this photo yesterday we could still see the mountains. Today they’re gone and our skies have a thick, yellow-grey pallor. As Houston emerges from epic floods some of our western states are on fire. There seems no end to the miseries some people have to endure.

The scene looks like just another hazy humid day. Stay safe.
Andy, this shot was yesterday. Today it’s considerably worse…well beyond hazy.
Floods and fires, it’s almost unbelievable Kay! Watching on the news those poor people returning to their homes , so awful to see.. I can’t imagine what that would be like!
We have friends in southern Oregon and they are surrounded by fires. Horrible conditions and not very good for people who already have respiratory issues.
It’s been a bad year for fires in parts of the continent.
