We camped at Fort Flagler recently. The backdrop of the Olympic Mountains along the shore of Port Townsend Bay is always a beautiful sight. And it’s only an hour from Sequim.

No mountains near me so I am always fascinating when I see them.
Now that’s what I call a spectacular backdrop Kay.. I’m not much of a camper but that might tempt me 😀😀
You pose an excellent question! I’m sure I’d love everything about this place.
That’s only an hour away? I’d be there often. So beautiful. Looks chilly, though. Re your question on my blog: The Villages developer controls all construction very carefully and all designs must be approved and follow the overall plan. It’s a lot like the Kremlin used to be. They even tell people to look happy!
Glad the airplane museum was so much fun. I enjoyed looking at those wonderful flying machines.
I’ve been lucky enough to have seen a fair part of this world, and it’s difficult to find a piece of it fairer than the one we live in.
A grand view!
Wow! A beautiful scenic place. Looks very peaceful and a wonderful place to camp. Close to home too so you can visit anytime.
Have a wonderful day, Kay.
A fantastic view!
