We had a few days last week that previewed summer. That’s about as far as it got.

Same thing here. The weather has messed up the crop planting. The strawberry crop is suffering this year
Raindrops on a plant or branch tells the story!
We are having a couple of cloudy and slightly rainy days and I’m a so happy! I’m getting to the point I hate to get up and see that damn sun every day. Maybe we ought to exchange houses for a few days every month? 🙂
Re the ibises: when we lived on the other side of town we had many large water oak trees in our yard. Ibises usually run in packs (or whatever) and kinda take over a neighborhood running around on the lawns. One day, though, they decided to take to the trees. I’ll bet we had 30-40 of them in the trees just in our yard. Great fun to watch.
Disappointing isn’t it, but “they” say it should be better in the coming week.
We seem to have the same here these days. Just a little too chilly in the mornings.
Lovely photo! We’re happy to finally see some rain here. Almost on cue, right when the rainy season officially started this week, the skies opened up.
I keep waiting for summer – it gets warm and then it rains and then it rains and then it rains – I want summer. But the rain can be beautiful indeed – but I want summer.
