Since DH discovered the log barn I showed you recently I’ve been more aware of them. So naturally now they’re popping up more than I’d have expected. Here’s a different building style using logs. I have a couple more log structures I’ll show you in coming days.
Not ever have I seen a log structure with vertical logs. Interesting! With a tin roof yet.
Quite a distinctive look. I’m used to planks, or logs on the horizontal instead of vertical like this.
I do find those very attractive with their weathered logs.
Log shed and a split rail fence – there’s a lot of time went into these.
So unusual looking. Curious the builder went vertical with the logs…and opted for a tin roof. Funny you’re noticing these structures more & more….now that you know to look for them!
