Red berries certainly brighten up the the boring colours of winter..
Well done. Now, what kind of berries are these? Are they edible or just to look at? I like the water droplets very much. Keep smiling, spring is on its way!
Lowell, these are rose hips. They are decent fodder for wildlife but too tart for the human palate. They’re very high in vitamin C, though, and, with lots of sugar, often made into rose hip jam.
Just think, only a few more weeks and the cherry blossoms will be popping out – I know Victoria gets them in February, it will be a bit later here.

Colour can be hard to find in the winter but it seems you found some. Nice looking berries.
Finding some winter color (in addition to finding winter warmth) is a good reason to head to southwest Florida. Come on down!
