We got a dusting of snow on Monday night. We live closer to sea level so “dusting” was a pretty grand term to use at our house. But as I drove closer to town yesterday — say, the loftier elevations of 300 feet or so — it was clear that snow had fallen.
Friends at higher elevations declared themselves snowed in rather than braving snowy driveways and icy roads. Some of us don’t even own snow shovels.
Gee, even the golf course had snow!
I like winters like this.
I don’t think that little snow would keep me off the golf course, but the temperature might! It seems to me that one time many years ago Ocala had a “dusting” of snow, or some kind of white stuff. No one remembers for sure! 🙂
Welcome to winter.
A pretty sight to see!
We had snowfall on Monday too – but nothing stuck -usually up here we have it stick even when in town it is just slush – but not this time – ok by me – it was pretty falling and didn’t make things slick – really cold now, 24 already – brrr r r r r rrrrr – better bundle up.
