We’ve had plenty of rain — and wind — lately. The day I took this last week we had several squalls that featured horizontal rain. In between we had rainbows. And as I raced to catch this one I noticed it was a double rainbow. Can you see the faint second one to the left in this shot? It’s very faint.
Here’s the other end of the same rainbow. You can see the second one a little better on the right.
The wild weather isn’t over yet. Snow — not common around here — has been forecast.
These are nice shots…double rainbows are fun. But be careful out there chasing them….horizontal rain sounds like a hurricane! Yikes! Thanks for your very nice comment on Ocala! Hope you have a great Sunday!
I like RAINBOWS too. I don’t see them very often, but it is always a happy moment!
Yes, I see them. It seems rare to catch them here though.
Lovely rainbow and you caught it. 🙂 I’ve seen a few but then I have to rush to get the camera and by then it’s gone.
Nice catch! But the conundrum is which of the 4 ends has that pot o’ gold.
I’ve yet to successfully nail that one, Paul!
These are great, Kay. I have never had much luck photographing rainbows. Nor finding the gold.
