There’s a very cool clock just outside the lobby of Evergreen Collision Center. My photos aren’t what I’d hoped they’d be but the clock is just too interesting to not get a mini moment of fame.
It’s a connecting rod on a piston. From an engine. An enormous engine.
(There’s a gumball machine through the window behind it. The color is similar; don’t let that confuse you.)
Impressive looking clock! I like clocks and this one is interesting. Have a wonderful Sunday.
At first I thought it was some sort of cactus. I’d never have guessed piston rod. It is a cool clock for sure, but I can’t tell time with it as it has no numbers. I mean how will I know when the little hand is on 5 and the big hand is on 12 so I can clock out and go home? Sheesh!
Very cool indeed!
Wow – great clock – somebody put a lot of work into that – thanks for sharing it with us.
Very impressive – the inverted connecting rod even invokes an antique grandfather clock shape!
When I was a kid there was a jeweler who occasionally would let me hang around and let me watch him making repairs. The insides of watches and clocks still fascinate me.
