There’s a nicely landscaped flower bed at Carrie Blake Park. I hadn’t checked out the dahlias for a couple of years. They occupy part of a top tier.
Dahlias grow beautifully around here and the ones at Carrie Blake don’t disappoint. I’ll show you more tomorrow.
Those flowers are gorgeous!
Dahlias are such a dazzling flower. It’s been so dry here that dahlias in our garden have small flowers this year.
I LOVE dahlias. These are some beautiful examples. 😀
Dahlias are very special. I think it might be too hot for them here, but I’m not sure. Re your comment on Ocala: Mexican food is popular, but followers of da Trump want to erect a wall around our city to keep actual Mexican people out. Of course, that would destroy our horse breeding/training enterprises.
Just kidding. Sort of.
Oops, I also meant to say that I wanted to build a wall to keep out da Trump, but the city council said it couldn’t be done. Some of them, I’ve heard, love da Trumps.
What a delightful sight they make!
Lavender season! And dahlias already? They aren’t out in force in Elizabeth Park until September.
Definitely a great reason to visit this park. Lovely!
Beautiful blooms! Must be a visual treat to dally among the dahlias.
