I’m still experimenting with my new little Lumix camera. It caught the textures that attracted me this day. And it handled the Kay Phenomenon: the wind always — always — picks up the minute I point the camera.
(For those who’ve asked or wondered, it’s a Panasonic Lumix model DMC-ZS50.)
The wind can really mess up what one is trying to photograph. I have heard of photographers waiting hours for the right conditions… not only with wind or the lack of wind but also the right lighting. That is luxury that most of us do not have. Keep on clicking and have fun!
I’m going to check out your camera. I have three or four Panasonic Lumix cameras and I love them. As I recall I’ve got the TZ-1, TZ-3 (2), TZ-4, and a FZ or FC-5. I love them all. I’ve gotten some fantastic photos from them. Bought on eBay at very good prices and now I’ll sell some of them, I think. Hate to let them go, though. Personally, I think they are one of the finest p&s cameras out there, next to Sony.
Have a great weekend and keep using that light!
Very nice shot
Pretty light in this shot. I had the lack of wind be an issue for me not too long ago trying to photograph a flag.
Nice light.
